I can not believe it has been almost a whole year since I have posted! Things have been busy! Burgundy is almost 4! Tynison just turned one! We are expecting Adyliene in early sept! We got a new house! Just so much has went on it is hard to even summarize it all!!

things I have learned as a bus driver.......

1. My bright yellow/orange bus is camoflauge!!!! No really people pull out in front of me ALL the time;)
2. The fan is NOT to keep the driver cool- it IS to keep the smell of 8 year old boys "gas" away from me.
3. It may be 80 degrees and beautiful outside, but in my bus it's 120!
4. There are thumb tacks in all the seats! ( thats why the kids are always trying to stand;)
5. The stoplight will always turn yellow to red when there is a cop on the other side:)
6. I always have a ton of traffic around me except when my speedometer gauge sticks..( and there will also be a cop clocking speed when this happens!)
7. I can stop traffic!!!
8. I can't stop traffic!!( but I get tag numbers of those pesky drivers who don't stop- and guess what!? The cops issue tickets!!
9. Parents who just dropped THEIR kids off at school don't stop for YOUR children to cross the crosswalk:(
10. Parents defend their children, even when they're the bully
11. It is completely acceptable to buy/make a christmas present for your childs driver;)
12. Even though we only drive back and forth to school we are working up to 2 hrs before and after schoool:(
13. It will always rain before you go to inspect the outside of your bus.
14. Sunglasses are a must!
15. Morning sickness is not fun at 5 am with screaming children and no restroom in sight.
16. I AM NOT A MORNING PERSON!
17.Just because I am a bus driver does not mean I am poor. ( I have never seen so many escalades, lincolns, bmws in a parking lot!) This stems from a food drive we did on the bus and one parent wouldn't send anything because they didn't want me to take it home with me;( and this is someone from "that" kind of neighborhood....)
18. I can work 4 hrs a day and still bring home a chunk of change;)
19. Lastly I will always remember these kiddos... ( I had to yell their name everyday for the past year;) even though I am just passing through for a short time;)

Busy bees!

I don't even know where to start! My new job is going great- although it is starting to wear on me. I start at around 5:30am which puts me waking up around 4:50am....( not in my vocabulary!) I work till 8ish go home take hubby to work and come home and tend to baby TyNison and my sweet preschooler Burgundy:) then around 11 start getting ready for round two- drop kiddos off at said destinations and off to work I go again! Mind you no nap! I have also been toting the football team to games- so far twice. Both trips led to about 22 hrs of work time:) great pay- terrible sleep! Next week is not looking any better for sleep!

Burgundy started preschool last week! She did fabulous!!! I asked her who her friends were yesterday and she said Ally- I don't know her- but from a distance seems sweet:) Tynison also started daycare- he is always so happy when I pick him up and when I drop him off:) I just looked up from him laying on the floor and OH MY he is so tall!! Im going to pull out the measuring tape and scale:)lol

Jason has adjusted to his new schedule fine- although his hours were cut and that stinks! I have been so busy I haven't even gotten Tynisons 5 month pictures taken:(  Thats my goal next week!

If you've ever been to Arkansas you know that it could be sunny and 105 and in ten mins its snowing( maybe not that extreme but close;) well thats been the case the last week- such nice high eighties, then back to 100's when will this end.. I can't wait for my sweaters, jeans and uggs!

Well I think I may try to squeeze in a nap!

wow! how time flies!

There has been so much going on this last month- it's hard to keep it all straight! Well staying at home full time has proven to not be my cup of tea! I am not however ready to go back full time- so I got my CDL and will be driving a school bus:) ( the best part is I can work half as much as my hubby and still get the same amount of money;) There are things we need and things we definately want, and I feel this is the best option for our family:)With this change comes change for Burgundy and Tynison- Burgundy will be starting preschool in a week:( and Tynison will be starting daycare in two weeks:( but both will only be in for a very short period of time during the day! Which makes this mommy happy!
Our choir at church has some big things happening as well which I am very excited about! We will be getting a new worship pastor and a new campus pastor! I am very much looking forward to this new direction at the church!
Our little Tynison is changing and growing so much! He is over 17lbs and is only 4 months old.. hes not too chunky very well rounded:) He is now rolling over well, chatting up a storm, smiling, laughing, and newest accomplishment is sitting unsupported- he still topples over if he gets too distracted but he is doing fantastic!
Burgundy is growing into a beautiful smart lil lady! Everyday she amazes me! she counts to 20 well. knows her abcs, all shapes, most colors( all the normal ones:) we're working on pastels next) traces well and is just really becomming this wonderful little girl! with a fierce disposition:)
Jason is doing well- just going through the motions of the day!
I have promised myself to keep better updated this month! Hope all is well with everyone and look forward to seeing the page views incline again:)

Middle of the night feeding- not the baby!!:)

So here it is after 12 and I can not sleep.. call it the exercise or caffiene but this lady is shoveling cookies and coke down!! Burgundy said something that I had to write before I forgot- I had just got done mopping the floors and she could see that they were wet.. I told her to be careful they were slippery.. so I go about my business and put some eye drops in my eyes and she looked at me and said mommy are your eyes slippery!! I got a kick out of that:)

So I joined the church choir tonight! Big step for this shy one!! It was a ton of fun and it gives me that extra boost before sunday!! I needed that. My mission now- to find a jewel inspired shirt and some black slacks that actually fit!! Well I had better get off here I just didn't want to forget that little Burgundy-ism!! night all!!

Burgundy Rose turns 3!!!

So my little girl Burgundy Rose turned 3 on saturday! The day was a little surreal for me- the day started with her getting to sleep in.. then to mommys to get her "curls" and "made-up" toddler for- her hair being curled, blush and lip gloss:) She was also sprayed with about 20 gallons of hairspray( that will come into the story a little later)  Burgundy has super straight thin hair- which is competely opposite what I have so I have no idea what to do with it sometimes!! Anyway her party was at jumpzone( and indoor inflatables building) which is the absolute perfect place for a 3 year olds party!! We had to make a stop to wal-mart( from Bentonville wal-mart has to show up in my post:) to get her cake:) it was a two tier cake with all the disney princesses on it- she adored it.. or so I thought- we got to the bakery to pick it up and they had a toy story cake in the display case at the top of her lungs " I want the toy story cake!!" * blushing and embarrassed I said yep I'm picking up the "toy story" cake wink wink... she didn't remember that cake at all once she was at the party;) yes!!! of course my little princess was fashionably late:) Well heres where the hairspray comes in- they bounce first so an hour and a half of bouncing then party.. in my mind they should do it the other way so that mommy and daddy and family can get cute pics first but no.. I got sweaty beat red faced kids:( oh well!! Once we got in the room we had 30 mins for pizza, cake, and presents! I felt rushed and of course every toy she wanted to open and see first... yeah that didn't happen;)  I basically threw bags at her and daddy quickly swept them away!! it was very nice she got a ton of special presents!!! I will post pics probably tom:) Once we got home my living room was a disaster!!!! and stayed that way the remainder of then night!! We had a special spaghetti dinner- her request and then off to watch a barbie movie then bed!! It was one long day!!!!
During the course of the day poor Tynison didn't geet much mommy time so tom baby boy I am all yours:) * Burgundy will be busy playing with her new toys:)
I apparently woke up at some point last night telling my husband that we were not going to be going to church.... once I was awake and present in mind and body (9am) I hopped up and started getting ready I go downstairs and tell Jason yep we're going- poor guy thought he got out of it;) dropped Burgundy off at her queens* jasons mom i s her queen;)( she hates daycare and does terrible so we always try to leave her with a grand parent) then I came home and got Jason and Tynison... the message was wonderful and has me very excited for the next 4 weeks! its a 5 weeks series titled are we in the end of times... very wonderful and always a great way to start my week- I really honestly believe that if I miss church on sunday the entire week is doomed... it;s so uplifting- not to mention its our kid free time to share with the Lord!! win-win!! We usually go grocery shopping after church and today was no different- we shopped then went to BBQ at queens:) it was yummy and I am pretty sure I have the most talented husband when it comes to cooking:) I had a special moment at church while we were singing and listening to the message- it talked about a break down in relations- I looked over and realized how lucky I really am- we have our ups and downs.. but Jason really works hard to take care of us- he always makes sure I have cookies and a full tummy- he always makes time for both Burgundy and Tynison after working with hundreds of kids everyday! He really is a marvelous man and I am VERY lucky!! our " relations" are great:) Jason Randall I love you! Throughout the weekend Burgundy let us in on her corky cute side a bit- my favorite quotes f the weekend went a little like this.... tynison was in the bath and Burgundy was helping wash him he started to cry and Burgundy said" its ok bubba- use your words!" that girl needs to take her own advice:0 haha... then today Jasons little sister was going to wm with her soon to be step dad and Burgundy wanted to go- I said Burgundy Calvin doesnt have a carseat in his car- her response - mommy has one!!! smarty pants!! and lastly she-was babbling being Burg and I kinda muttered a laugh she looked at me and said 'mommy youre killing me!" WHAT??!! haha.. I love my little princess and happy birthday my wonderful sassy pants- you are growing into an amazing little girl and I look forward to seeing what this next year holds!!!

(sorry about the typos and such - its 12 and the lights are all off... haha)
